The Coffin Works Factory was opened by the Newman Brothers in 1894 to produce coffin fittings, renowned for their quality which made them perfect for dignitaries and royalty. Find out more about the unique collection, and the royal connection from our new research films, and before exploring the time capsule museum with your tour guide, and see the museum transformed by flickering candlelight.
Please be aware that lighting levels will be lower than for normal tours, take extra care when moving around the museum. The historic building can be cold, so please dress warmly.
